WalkToAirport.com is an independent travel information site that lists hotels you can reach on foot from airport terminals. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, who processes it, and what choices you have. It applies to walktoairport.com and its subpages.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, passport details, or payment information. We do not process bookings. All reservations happen on the hotel's own website or a third-party booking service, under that company's privacy policy and terms.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically receive technical information when you load a page. This can include your IP address (used in truncated or anonymized form by our analytics provider), approximate location derived from that address at city or country level, device type, operating system, browser, screen size, language, referring website or search engine, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and similar identifiers in your browser and processes the technical information described above on our behalf. We use it in aggregate — we do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and we do not use Google Analytics data for advertising remarketing.
In addition to standard page views, we record a small number of interaction events so we can see which content is useful: hotel_click when a visitor clicks a hotel name, directions_click when a visitor opens walking directions or a map link, and affiliate_click when a visitor clicks a booking link that may earn us a commission. These events record the airport and hotel involved and the type of link clicked. They do not include your name, email address, or any information you type. You can opt out of Google Analytics entirely using Google's browser add-on.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave WalkToAirport.com and arrive on a hotel brand's website or a booking platform. That destination — and the affiliate network that manages the relationship, such as hotel brand affiliate programs and their network partners, or other hotel and booking partners — may set cookies or use similar technologies to attribute the visit and any resulting booking to us. Those technologies are controlled by those companies, not by us, and are governed by their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregated commission and performance reporting; we do not receive your booking details or payment information.
Airport pages link out to hotel websites, booking services, mapping services, and official airport resources. Once you follow such a link, the destination site's privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the content or data practices of external sites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use private browsing, or enable a tracking-prevention feature or browser extension. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from reading the site; it may prevent affiliate attribution and reduce the accuracy of our analytics. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data relating to you. Because we do not hold account or contact records, in most cases the only relevant data is held by Google Analytics and can be reset by clearing cookies.
This site is intended for a general adult travel audience. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
